Aircraft Maintenance Technician


First Class Air Support


Cargo Repair is currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to repair, refurbish, and/or rebuild parts and equipment on Cargo Loading Systems across multiple types of aircraft. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will interact with and support other technicians in the performance of these duties.


- Perform article repairs and inspection procedures as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, meeting established deadlines and quality standards

- Complete all required documentation at the conclusion of each task, ensuring all repair and inspection tags include total description of any discrepancies between removed parts

- Keep assigned workspace and personal toolbox clean and orderly

- Act in compliance with federal regulation and company policy

- Use proper safety equipment and follow all safety procedures

- Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor

Ability to commute/relocate:
Louisville, KY, 40299: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work


Candidates should be working on or have obtained their A&P license. Candidates should have at least one year of mechanical experience. Must have: complete set of hand tools for general maintenance work; mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
Be able to lift 25-50 pounds regularly.
The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (work in temperatures that are 10 to 20 degrees higher than the temperature outside).
Physically handle materials, tools, operating machinery, or equipment in a safe manner.
Must be able to sit or stand for a prolonged period of time.
Ability to work extended hours as needed due to demand.
Must possess manual dexterity skills.
Must have the physical strength and ability to sufficiently perform routine tasks.
Must have the visual acuity and hearing capability sufficient to perform essential functions of the job.



Work Schedule

Set Hours — Employees have a set schedule, Monday through Friday working from 6:30 am-3:30 pm with a one hour lunch break.

Required Education

Certificate — Candidates must have A&P license or be close to obtaining their A&P license.
