Examples of Duties: Under Close Supervision -
Establishes performance monitoring and auditing processes to assure quality.
Works with staff to develop and apply models and assessment tools to determine root causes of issues, develop solutions, and establish performance goals.
Provides technical support to data collection and analysis functions of the department.
Helps design data collection plans to measure program outcomes and effectiveness.
Retrieves, processes and makes accessible data from various sources for internal and external users.
Links, converts or saves data into database, spreadsheet or graphic format.
Creates program and organizational reports, including data visualizations and written analysis.
Performs statistical, quantitative and qualitative analysis on data gathered from operational, financial and personnel data systems.
Responds to data requests in a professional and timely manner.
Reviews and evaluates processes and practices for quality and compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, guidelines and standards and recommends modifications.
Conducts department-wide performance analysis utilizing a variety of quality improvement tools and data sources.
Makes recommendations for process improvement.
Receives, reviews and responds to non-routine requests for records.
Performs related work.
Three years of program evaluation or data analysis experience, including one year of management experience.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work.
