Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Sr Maintenance Technician performs activities concerned with facility and equipment maintenance - both repairs and preventative. Individual evaluates workplace environmental factors that may adversely affect employee safety and health, comfort and productivity and recommends control measures and corrective actions. He or she monitors compliance to environmental, safety, and health programs to ensure compliance to all company, state and federal regulations.
In addition, conducts the maintenance, repair, set-up or adjustment of assigned equipment using hand tools, test equipment and measuring devices.
The main missions of the role are:
o Must have working knowledge with PLC Programming (Allen Bradley) to support repairs and machine set up assignments to support the production schedule.
o Analyzes mechanical, electrical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
o Good working knowledge of lockout / tag-out procedures to minimize the risk of re-energization or the startup of stored energy of the machines or equipment
o Good experience working under pressure in manufacturing production environment and the ability to rotate shift when is necessary for special projects or new program launch activity.
o Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
o Analyzes and records maintenance causes of production delays.
o Notifies supervisor of reoccurring equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken.
o Trains maintenance C, B and A technicians when applicable.
o Trains general operators on the safe operation of production equipment.
o Maintains the quality aspects of the product/processes.
o Maintains clean and safe work environment in line with company policies.
o Adheres to and stays abreast of company policies.
o Instructs and directs any maintenance technicians/trainees assigned.
o Active participation in work teams.
o May be assigned to dismantle or cut up obsolete machinery, setting aside parts that can be used on other machinery.
o Manually, by hand truck, scissor lifts, booms or forklift move equipment, materials and supplies to designated places in the facility.
o Oils and greases equipment or do other preventative maintenance assigned.
o May be assigned general building/construction repairs or additions including installation of utility lines (i.e. water, gas, electric).
o Performs the duties of a general operator during meetings and manpower shortages.
o May be assigned to count parts, write tickets or audit during inventory.
o May be required to follow other instructions and perform other job duties as requested.
o Commits to the corporate goals, mission and vision.
o Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
o Knowledge of steel fabrication is required for structural racks, machine repairs and safety applications.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have/be: practical knowledge of the Faurecia Excellence System or an equlivant manufacturing system (such as TPM) with keen attention to detail to ensure quality.
Minimum education level: Associates degree in related field required or equivalent experience
Experience:
o 5 years maintenance/set up experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
o PLC experience required pref: Allen Bradley PLCs controllers Slick 500 to 5000.
o Basic fundamental in tube bending process knowledge required.
o Extensive fundamentals in welding systems are required (GMAW >AW). Preferred certified welder certification
o Basic fundamental in Robot programing required. With an emphasis on Yaskawa and Fanuc
o TPM knowledge required (Corrective, preventive & predictive).
o Computer skills needed are Microsoft office and basic iPad usage

Set Hours — 5 day schedule with weekends being scheduled to support production and projects

Salary

$ 29.28 to start, $32.02 - 1 year

Required Education
