Description

We are looking for an Installation Technician to install, repair, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and electrical equipment for our customers. Your duties may include: traveling to customers business; studying and becoming familiar with the system design. Installing electronic equipment; reading wiring diagrams, test/troubleshoot electrical wiring, and soldering electrical connections. Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment. Installing electrical and computer equipment. Testing connections. Conduct equipment installation, vendor trials, start-up, and commissioning activities for robotic welding manufacturing inspection equipment. Identify and eliminate problems with equipment. Adjust, troubleshoot, and confirm equipment prior to and during online trials to confirm readiness for manufacturing. Provide training to plant maintenance and production members on specification and operation of new equipment. Investigate performance issues, determine root cause, and develop permanent countermeasures. Maintaining equipment. Check drawings provided by mechanical and electrical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed. Providing user instructions to customers.

Requirements

To ensure success as an Installation Technician, you should have sound electrical and mechanical knowledge.
