Truce Global is a waste-diversion startup creating architectural building materials from waste that was destined for landfills. We are looking for someone to not only put their physical skills to use, but who is also eager to learn craftsmanship skills for manufacturing or research & development work. This is an exciting time to join the core team as our new manufacturing facility is transitioning into research & development of interior wall tiles. We seek someone eager to dive into the startup world assisting development of our initial decorative tile prototypes made out of landfill diverted waste.
Assists Founder/CEO and Production Associate as needed in order to create decorative wall tile prototypes. This involves:
Material measuring, handling, mixing, and pouring
Ability to use scale and measure out batches based on weigh
Cleaning work areas, equipment, facility as needed to maintain orderly station conditions
Load or unload heavy objects as requested
Potential use of paint spray gun if comfortable
Other ad hoc production/prototype related tasks as necessary.

* Advanced manufacturing, Green and Research and Development.
Must be capable of exerting physical effort, such as moving objects that weigh over 50 pounds, or moving heavy loads of concrete materials.
Must be comfortable working inside and outside in a variety of climate conditions. Must be comfortable working on a facility site that may require exposure to use of dangerous power tools and equipment.
Ability to show up dependably. Ability to follow directions and orders.
Flexible - Will work with applicant — Weekdays. Flexible but set block schedule to work around classes. Around 15 - 20 hours per week.
Bi-weekly direct deposit, transportation reimbursement possible if commuting, room for rapid internal advancement.
