Amatrol designs, develops and manufactures technical learning systems, highly interactive eLearning and hands-on simulators to train tomorrow’s workforce for many industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, packaging, etc. Colleges, universities, high schools and businesses use our products to teach individuals technical and workplace skills.
Our Field Technical Support Reps are experts who partner with the equipment designers at Amatrol to test, install and troubleshoot our mechanical and electronic training systems.
What you'll be doing:
Provide technical assistance and resolution for customers when issues arise. Identify, define and solve problems relating to equipment, components and systems for electrical, automation, industrial and mechanical products.
Install equipment systems onsite for customers according to product specifications.
The ability to travel for up to 20% of the year to domestic and international locations.
Ability to read blueprints and other product specification documents in English.
Familiar with MS Office applications.
Experience in working with PLCs, computers, robotics, hydraulics & pneumatics, mechanical systems, electrical or electronic equipment is a plus.
Experience with basic TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
Set Hours — Office Hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. This position will require travel to domestic and international locations about 20% of the time. Work hours while traveling will vary.

Bachelor Degree — Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Engineering Technology or similar degree. Extensive experience plus 2 years of college may substitute for a 4 year degree.
