Summer Works/Youth Build Louisville
Louisville SummerWorks program will connect students with summer employment opportunities. Employment opportunities include internships as well as full-time and part-time positions. Register ASAP.
To apply, follow the steps listed in the application process. Or, stop by JCTC's Multicultural Center on February 12 or February 14 between 11am and 2pm to meet with a SummerWorks staff member and register for the program. Registration takes approximately 15 minutes. The Multicultural Center is located on the JCTC Downtown Campus in the Chestnut Hall, room B14

Must be 16-21 years old. Must be able to provide social security card, birth certificate, and photo ID to set up employment. If you do not have these documents, please call Summer Works at 502-574-4183.

SummerWorks Sponsored Positions work 30 hours per week June 10-July 26 and earn an hourly wage of $8.25 Private sector positions may earn more than $8.25 per hour. Private sector positions include IT, Healthcare, Business, Education, Hospitality, Retail Sales, Construction, and Manufacturing.
No education requirement
(1) Register for SummerWorks at www.summerworks.org Please visit the CREW Career Center for assistance with creating a resume as well as receive guidance on interviewing.
(2) Check your email daily. Emails with the subject line "SummerWorks" will be sent to you with clear directions on how to apply to positions
(3) Respond to interview requests. When you receive and email or phone call to set up an interview, respond immediately.
