Flynn Brothers Contracting
We have a position for a new IT Professional at Flynn Brothers Contracting. We are a mid-sized site and heavy-highway construction company that is over 40 years old and based in Louisville, KY. The IT department has a wide variety of responsibilities and you'll get to learn all of them. Everything from run-of-the-mill PC troubleshooting and network administration to VOIP management, VMWare admin, and an upcoming employee tablet rollout w/ MDM management. These are just to name a few. We have a HUGE variety of systems and applications that makes things always interesting. If you want to learn and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig in, this is the place for you!
Would prefer 2+ yrs. experience to formal education but degrees and certificates are a starting point if you're new to the field. I get it, no one is born an expert. We all have to start somewhere.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent people skills with ability to talk technically as well as explain technical things to end users.

Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Full-time and/or Part-time
Set Hours — Generally M-F 8-5, but we can be a bit flexible. Some IT work has to be done after hours when users are gone. Sometimes users have problems outside the normal work hours. If you're flexible with us, we're flexible with you.
30K - 60K Pay will reflect level of experience
