Perform a variety of office and/or field duties in connection with making and maintaining accurate maps and records.
Compile information and generate reports, forms and documents as required.
Become familiar with and acquire a working knowledge of the maps, records, and taxing districts.
Accurately answer inquiries from others for authorized information from the maps and records.
Will use current Asset Information computer hardware/software to perform basic mapping, document processing, and information retrieval.
Perform field work including taking measurements with tape or wheel, taking basic field notes, setting location stakes, minor right-of-way clearing, and other tasks as required.
Use field notes to make "as built" drawings of facilities.
Check field installation records and reports of facilities for accuracy.
Make prints of maps or drawings using any of the available reproduction machines.
Learn to operate electronic document scanners, survey equipment, facility locators, or other equipment required in the performance of duties.
