Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services
Perform repair or modification design, and develop appropriate technical documents, such as repair approvals, drawings, reports and specifications. Provide support to intercompany airlines (ABX, ATI). Coordinate and support manufacturing activities and those in other internal departments (CRO, Heavy and Line Maintenance). Develop documentation in support of certification and outside customer activities. Project Lead for Aircraft System Installations and Modifications: Provide technical direction to install/modification team of technicians. Identify and resolve issues that arise throughout Project. Manage associated parts/materials; e.g. requisition, tracking, installation, disposition of removed parts, completing parts tag. Coordinate maintenance activities with other internal departments to maintain Project schedule and ensure uninterrupted flow. Aircraft Return to Service (RTS): Required maintenance actions are completed and documented in the aircraft logbook, customer required paperwork and AMES Form R-211. Perform typical maintenance tasks. Avionics/Electrical, Mechanical and/or Structures: Manufacture (fabricate) installation/modification kits and associated parts. Repair, modification, installation, troubleshooting and functional testing of various aircraft systems.
Airframe License; five (5) years experience in manufacturing, repair, modification, installation, troubleshooting and functional testing of aircraft systems, as applicable for discipline: e.g. Avionics/Electrical, Mechanical and/or Structures; demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze aircraft & component related technical documentation; demonstrated ability to work and form decisions independently & effectively in a fast paced environment cross functionally, with minimal supervision & within the boundaries of the Code of Federal Regulations, our business model, organizational commitments and demands; working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project products; working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar desktop drafting application; familiar with 14 CFR Parts 21, 23, 25, 26, 43, 91, 135, and 145; familiar with required compliance criteria of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other FAA and OEM documentation; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate methodically; interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, and organizations. Preferred Job Skills: Powerplant or FCC License. Advanced technical training. Ten (10) years experience in manufacturing, repair, modification, installation, troubleshooting and functional testing of aircraft systems, as applicable per discipline: e.g. Avionics/Electrical, Mechanical and/or Structures. Lead or Supervisory experience.
