Description

Seeker Property Group has been investing in apartment buildings in historic Old Louisville for over a decade. We pride ourselves in maintaining our properties to a very high standard and being a great partner for all of our residents and neighbors to work with.

As a result of our growth, we are looking to add a new member to our maintenance team for 20-40 hours per week. We offer competitive compensation (dependent on experience) and flexible schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Promptly respond to maintenance calls
• Perform apartment inspections
• Schedule repairs with 3rd party vendors
• Review and sign off on work from subcontractors
• Turnover make-ready work, including paint, fixtures change-outs and contractor scheduling
• Light to medium landscaping work
• Inspect buildings to identify needed repairs, making notes and recommendations
• Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, lights, bulbs, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, installing new fixtures, etc.)
• Perform minor HVAC maintenance (diagnose and resolve heat/AC issues, change filters, etc.)
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work
• Purchase materials and enter expenses

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Regular access to cell phone, internet and email
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
