SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for dynamic balancing, vibration analysis, and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment. Will have an increasing level of experience with the job duties and will be able to function in a mechanical environment. He/she will be able to prepare reports and conduct analysis using computer technology. Achievement of Level I Electrical certification and Level I and II of Vibration Analysis Certification is always a goal.
Responsible for orchestrating the sales and marketing efforts so as to grow the industrial business, adding the 24/7 condition monitoring piece and the commercial building component. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify the building maintenance/management personnel, property management, and mechanical contractors who are the decision makers for CPR services. Make direct sales calls and market to this group.
In concert with our partner learn the particulars of 24/7 condition monitoring, integrate into KEC’s offerings, assist with marketing efforts, handle/direct installations, and implement monitoring requirements.
Dynamic balancing and vibration analysis of electric motors.
Operates test equipment to include balancing stations, analyzers, magnet tester, oscilloscope and all electrical testing.
Performs basic vibration analysis in the field.
Performs thermographic scans providing appropriate reporting.
Performs field alignment and field balancing.
Responsible for loading and unloading data collector.
Will collect field data for future analysis.
Will draw oil samples for future analysis.
Will generate reports for all testing procedures and analysis of information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Electric motor mechanical skills helpful.
Must be personal computer literate.
Must have strong aptitude and excellent problem solving abilities.
Must be able to operate with little or no supervision.
Must be dependable.
Must have good manual dexterity.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous sales experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in service area where temperature may fluctuate.
Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
Set Hours — 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with some overtime
$18-$24 per hour
Paid vacation, holidays,
Associate Degree — Technical degree preferrerd
Louisville — Will visit customers within 100 mile radius of Louisville, KY.
