Provide on-site maintenance services to Diebold customers within an assigned territory. Perform First Line Maintenance on ATMs; perform scheduled cleanings and other basic maintenance on conventional products as assigned. You are responsible for: Respond timely to commercial, banking and retail sites requiring minor repairs and non-technical fixes of the physical devices that Diebold services, primarily ATMs. This requires: Providing on-site diagnosis of problem.
Non-technical services such as clearing paper and bill jams, cleaning fascia, CRT and sensors, replacing paper and printer ribbons.
Minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.
Escalating mechanical issues to hardware Service Technicians for Second Line Maintenance when necessary.
Performing basic installation functions, such as pulling cable and mounting devices.
Performing preventative maintenance inspections on conventional products, such as VATs (vacuum air tubes), vaults and locks.
Completing equipment cleanings as specified by Diebold contracts.
Achieving monthly service performance metrics.
Use of basic hand tools and limited parts.
Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive customer relations. Follow call handling and call closure procedures consistently, and promote a high quality of service. Must follow all key, alarm and combination control processes in place for assigned area of responsibility.
Basic PC skills are required.
This includes the ability to use MS Windows applications.
Must be open to change and receptive to new technology.
Must display a strong sense of urgency, maintain a professional presence and demonstrate business acumen.
This position also requires risk management and organizational skills.
Must function in a team environment, demonstrating the ability to receive direction from and provide assistance to other team members.
Demonstrate initiative, escalating and resolving issues at the service call level.
Strong customer service skills are required and may be demonstrated through setting appointments, maintaining positive interaction with the customer during a service call, and reassigning calls when appropriate.
Set Hours — Work Hours: Typically 2:00 pm to 11:00pm, Nights and Weekends
