Community Living Supports (CLS) staff will provide supports for a special needs younger adult which shall facilitate their independence and promote community integration while residing in their own home.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Support and assist an individual on a one-on-one basis which shall be related to chosen outcomes and not be diversional in nature.
Implement activities and keep the individual engaged throughout the approved time frame. These activities
are to be documented in detail on a weekly activity sheet and turned into the Director of Remote services each week. All employees will complete orientation at the Center (i.e. Personnel Policies, Benefits, Time Sheets, etc.) as well as, any specialized training / orientation and continuing education directly related to their job duties.(i.e. CPR + first aid, TB test, crisis intervention, college of direct support).
Experience in planning and implementing activities for specialized population preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Current first aid certification.
Current TB certificate.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
