Description

As a key member of the School-Age Childcare Enrichment Program (CEP) team, the Childcare Worker is responsible for creating a safe, fun and positive atmosphere that promotes member engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements

PASSION FOR WORKING WITH SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN (K-8th grade)!! Must be at least 17 years old. Able to work/travel to CEP sites located at various JCPS & Jefferson County parochial school locations. Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character. Development Values. People centered, service oriented. Ability to lead group activities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Previous child care or group work experience preferred.

Work Schedule

Flexible - Will work with applicant — Monday – Friday (AM shift is 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM); (PM Shift is 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM). Times are flexible based site needs.

Salary

$10.00 per hour

Required Education

High School Diploma — Must provide provide proof of enrollment in high school or high school diploma/GED.

Work Location

Louisville — CEP sites located at various JCPS & Jefferson County parochial school locations.
