Receives, counts, inspects, unpacks, dates, and stores food items from all vendor deliveries and from other dining facilities or field kitchens. Reports all overages, shortages, and damages of food items to the facility manager. Verifies and signs shipping documents against quantity delivered. Performs and maintains daily inventory on all food items; assist facility manager with conducting inventories. Discards packing material in accordance with established recycling and disposal procedures. Stores food items using the First-In First-Out FIFO rule. Keeps all food storage areas clean and organized.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to lift up to 80 pounds or more several times a day, have good math skills, and be able to converse comfortably and professionally with individuals that conduct business with the dining facility.

Flexible - Will work with applicant — Up to 5 days a week with opportunity for overtime.
*Pension*- $1.05 for every hour work up to 40 hours a week. FREE- health, vision and dental (after 31 days). Holiday pay. ITPEU Union.
