Client Service Specialist

The Client Service Specialist role is a key member of the Encore Wealth Management Group Team. Encore is a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. The Client Service Specialist position will interface with everyone on the team and assist the financial advisors with both the front and back end of the client’s financial needs. A great role for someone looking to potentially grow into a Financial Advisor in the future!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Client Care: Maintain a WOW mindset in all relationships – creating a truly personalized service experience. Phone back up, client resolution back up. Business Management: Complete GAR/FAL letters. Track FAL’s. Encore. Prep for appointments. Print PMT’s for appointments. Client summary letter tracking. Marketing/event assistance.


1-2 years of client service experience in an office setting preferred. Strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office Suite). required. Strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills to interface regularly with clients and other advisors/staff. Effective time management skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by advisor and the FINRA. Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within the practice. Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow.



Work Schedule

Flexible - Will work with applicant — 8-4:30 p.m. Ideally with a little flexibility. Occasional work outside of ‘normal business hours’ due to events held throughout the year.

Required Education

Bachelor Degree — Degree in Business preferred.
