Description

TCR Rail Systems is looking for an experienced welder to join our team in Simpsonville, Kentucky! Job duties include: Fabrication, layout, fit-up and welding of large steel and aluminum railroad signal structures. Maintaining your work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion.
Making safety a key component for you and your family. Additional or different duties may be assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to read and follow blueprints with precision and complete understanding. Must be proficient in primarily aluminum welding, and able to pass a welding test. Must be experienced in mig, tig, and stick welding. Must be capable of performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner, showing attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment. Must be trainable, positive, a fast learner, and very capable of taking directions and criticisms. Must be dependable, hard-working, timely, flexible, and positive.
Technical Competencies: Safety — making safety a key component of your everyday lifestyle. Communication. Decision Quality. Process oriented. Decision making. Organizational knowledge. Managing across organizational boundaries. Planning and organizing.
Teamwork and cooperation. Two years of welding and fabrication experience is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and are subject to a background check and drug screening.

Set Hours — Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM

Salary

$25.00 an hour if qualified
