Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services
Work on aircraft in a hangar and/or Interior shop performing removals, installations, repairs (laminates, composites & fiberglass), paint touch-up, and modifications on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance specifications and within FAA and customer standards.
This position requires that you have an acute sense of attention to detail as you perform work on seats, lavatories, galleys, partitions, sidewalls, ceiling panels, storage units, carpet & coin matting.1 year interior or finish work experience that includes the application of sealants, epoxy, resins, strippers, chemical cleaning agents and other necessary materials. Ability to effectively speak, read and write English. An acute sense of attention to detail. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. Ability to obtain a Repairman’s Certificate for an FAR Part 145 operation. Prior experience using the applicable tools and shop equipment to perform fiberglass and minor composite repairs. Be able to read & interpret the following; blueprints, the Structural Repair Manual, Illustrated Parts catalog, service bulletins, the AMM, CMM and Engineering Orders. Must provide own tools. PREFERRED: Airframe License; hands on experience working aircraft interiors under a FAR Part 145 Repair Station or equivalent; experience in Composite & Fiberglass repairs; and working knowledge of interior removal, installation and repairs.
