Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services
This position will prepare and monitor contractual agreements and associated documents related to the sale of aircraft maintenance, component repair and manufacturing, engineering services, spare parts sales and other related activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Confer with Sales and Product Line Directors and coordinate appropriate actions with Director of Contracts and other senior management members or legal counsel as required. Establish and implement protocols to manage internal checks/balances, review/approval processes and deadlines for completion of documents to satisfy customer requirements. As directed, act as liaison between sales, management and customers during the contract negotiation process.
•Demonstrated experience in contract drafting and negotiation, as well as knowledge of legal, financial and standard business practices related to contracts.
•Verbal, written presentation, problem solving & interpersonal skills necessary to effectively use fact based reasoning to communicate, update, persuade and facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management and customers to achieve desired goals.
•Demonstrated capability and flexibility to work independently with little direction and/or motivation in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, exercising a high degree of ethical and responsible behavior.
•Proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Access, Word & PowerPoint), database software (such as SUGAR), e-mail and web-based applications.
Preferred Job Skills:
•Advanced degree and/or formal training in Business, Finance or Marketing
•Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and/or LEAN Process training
•Direct experience in Airline or MRO contracting
Preferred: Advanced degree and/or formal training in Business, Finance or Marketing
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant contract administration experience OR
Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant contract administration experience OR
6 years relevant professional contract administration experience. (Minimum of 6 years combined education, Airline, MRO, OEM or other relevant commercial experience, with at least 2 years in a contract administration role.)
