Primary tasks and duties include:
Support the Crowne Plaza hallmarks and standards. Meet with vendors. Write schedule, approves vacation, and manages overtime for all stewarding staff. Execute inventory. Wash and store in proper places all dishes, trays, utensils, cups and small equipment for the department. Responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet functions (buffets and receptions). Aid cooks and chefs in plating up food and running food for buffets. Determine the individual needs of each banquet and make sure everything is prepared. Provides guidance, training, and day to day direction to stewarding staff. All other duties as required.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in hotel with high volume banquet kitchen. HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic computer skills in Excel and Word required. One will be subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.
