A general list of responsibilities, tasks, and duties are as follows:
-To maintain the physical grounds of the hotel including parking lot and courtyard.
-Support the Crowne Plaza hallmark and service standards.
-Responsible for the maintenance of hotel grounds.
-Responsible for day to day maintenance including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
-Perform daily inspection of physical grounds and equipment.
-Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters.
-Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
All other duties as required.
Zero to two years of experience. High School diploma or equivalent required. Have a basic knowledge of general painting, plumbing, wallpaper and electrical. Must be able to train on 1st shift for the first six months of working. One must have general maintenance experience and skills. Must be available weekends and holidays. Have the ability to plan for, focus on and complete tasks on time. Task oriented with high standards of quality and accuracy. One must have a strong follow through on delegated tasks and assignments. Have the ability to troubleshoot problems independently. Have the ability to work at a faster than average pace. Requires finger dexterity to be able to operate equipment, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking repetitive motion, hearing visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Set Hours — PM shift (2nd/3rd shift)
$10.66/hr to $15.00/hr (based on experience)
