As a vital part of the Development Department of NSPN, the Development Intern is responsible for collaborating regarding
research, writing, and communications regarding potential donors, funders, and corporate partners. This is an excellent opportunity to earn fundraising credibility and a record of success for future employment.

Requirements

 Excellent written communication skills and research skills
 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
 Self-motivated, good organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task
 Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general familiarity with databases
 Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within the internship experience
 Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Schedule

Flexible - Will work with applicant — This position will require approximately 15 hours per week and will primarily take place Monday through Friday during normal business hours. ENVIRONMENT:  Louisville interns will report to the development office at the national headquarters  Non-Louisville interns will perform tasks remotely and report to meetings and discussions via Skype and phone
